The Wang Gang

Alexander Wang had this awesome shoot for Interview Magazine's March issue. It showed him mixed in a party of models, including some of his muses, Erin Wasson and Alice Dellal. It was photographed by Mikael Jansson and includes Alexander Wang Spring 2010 pieces, styled by Karl Templer. JUMP for more pics and a fun video of them dancing on set.

Viktor & Rolf Fall 2010

Glamour Factory was the theme behind the dynamic, Dutch duo's latest runway collection. The show began with model Kristen McMenamy dressed in 23 layers of clothes! She stood still in a rotating center while the designers undressed her, one piece at a time, placing it on models as they came wobbling down the runway in their dark and daring platforms. They undressed her until she was wearing a one piece swim suit and then reversed the show by taking the garments off the walking models and placing them back on Kristen until her opening looking was relived. Fucking fantastic! Viktor & Rolf actually recycled this idea, they did a similar show for their 1999 collection. Love it! JUMP for part 2 of the show.

They're killing us!

What! This Telephone video delivered and more! It sent a true message. If you listened. The quotes, the relationship with Gaga and Beyonce, them dressed in American flags, everything here was pretty crazy. We also keep learning that sex always sells. The fashion, the dancing, the setting, all amazing, basically we're pretty shitted on. Gaga taught Beyonce how to kill, she put on them Jeremy Scott frames and well, to be continued. It gets better towards the end. Gaga's cigarette glasses were scary. I saw some nods to Michael Jackson. And Tyrese Gybson is in it. Overall, I'm inspired. Holla!

Garuth Pugh Fall 2010 chain nails by manicurist Marian Newman. Chitty chitty bang bang, I really don't have the words. But Pugh never ceases to amaze.

Have you seen Alice yet?

Alice in Wonderland, which opened this past Friday set a record opening at $116.3 Million and that's only in the US and Canada. The film actually raked in $210.3 Million across the globe its first weekend in theaters. Alice In Wonderland set the biggest opening record for the first quarter ever, beating out Passion of The Christ which opened at $83.8 Million in 2004.

Have you seen the 3-D film yet? What did you think? I was told the graphics are phenomenal but the actual story and dialogue is just okay, but that Helena Bonham Carter's performance of the Red Queen was the winner. I think all the high expectations can set people up for disappointment. But when I see it I'm just looking for great visuals and inspirational quotes.
