Doctor's Order

The classic and iconic Dr. Marten turns 50 years old, January of 2010. To celebrate the coming of age, the boot company gathered a large list of designers to customize their own version of the 1460 boot, which is for their birthday, January 4th, 1960 (Capricorns holla!) These designs are not for sale, but I so badly wish they were. Creativity really inspires. So many of these boots are amazing! I have lots of d.i.y. projects in mind now. These boots should def be a doctor's order, a must have to treat a fashion addiction.

All the designers wrote something to describe their inspiration or thoughts on their creation of the 1460. I quoted some and took excerpts from others.
