So, the show was great! Highline was pretty packed, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I like concerts held at places like Highline and S.O.B.'s; they're way more intimate than big venues like MSG. I got there early (in the wind and rain), waited in line for a few minutes and then set up camp right in the front. I stood right in front of Phonte & Nicolay, and got some great pics and videos. TFE performed a bunch of my fav's from their latest album, Leave It All Behind, as well as some oldies from their first album, Connected. My favorite part of the show (aside from Phonte's dancing and funny antics between songs) was actually the diversity of the audience. There were people of every race, creed, ethnicity, color and especially AGE at the show. Kids as young as 17, and grown men and women pushing 40. It's amazing that one common factor held amongst people from all different walks of life can be so powerful as to bring us ALL together, to celebrate a common love. I love musicccc!
