Yummy in my tummy!
Dylan's Candy Bar is the sweetest spot on the Upper East Side. Literally! Located on the corner of 60th & 3rd, Dylan's Candy Bar is a 3 floor real-life candyland. (well 1 floor is being worked on). You enter greeted by a giant 'chocolate' bunny! The place is decorated with candy wall paper, candy filled stairs & tables, and bright colors everywhere. Downstairs has all the good stuff. Any candy ever made is in this store. In every flavor possible. I could talk for days about all the different types of candy (jump for all the sections & yummy suggestions). The top floor is a cafe. It's super cute, and includes ice cream, sundaes, shakes, cupcakes, cookies, fudge, coffee, plus. Dominique (from BLYNK) & I went to get sum great waffle bowls today. Dylan's is always filled with people, plays all kinds of candy related music (from shirly temple to lil wayne), and I work there! So come & see me! If I'm not in a private party (the cafe has movable walls to create private rooms), I'll be in apparel or sweeping up candy lol. The workers are cool. And sometimes Dylan comes in. She's Ralph Lauren's daughter. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the Famous Favorites wall. Every time a celebrity comes in they fill this bin with their favorite candys & sign it. Everyone from Method Man to the Olsen twins, from Bill Clinton to Susan Lucci. It's mad fun. Some candy is overpriced (like a wonderball for $3 smh), but it's all certainly affordable...prices in the store range from 25cents to $300 (thats a gift basket). Jump for pics, section rundown, & directions.
Have a sweet day yal!

This is the greatness of Dylan's:
gummy section (fruit punch gummy bears, yum!), licorice, chocolate section (clodhoppers are a must!), jelly belly, nostalgia (candies from way back when), novelty (candy grills is cool), astronaut ice cream (yes dried out ice cream, its surprisingly delish), willy wonka, organic candy, super sour section, lollipops galore, sugar powder, lots of hard candy (like huge jaw breakers & od pez), lots of gum & mints, and a great section called Ooey Gooey (chocolate covered everything...the milk chocolate covered oreos are amazing!). They also have an apparel section with fun pjs, a super cool candy umbrella, and tons of great favors. The gift baskets are amazing (and expensive like whoa). But there is always popcorn & cotton candy available (& on a lucky day, the chocolate fountain).
