The #1 selling cognac in the world held their Finale Event at NYC's Gotham Hall last night, Oct. 15th. 21-7's own got to be in the building. Me! Along with Dominique of BLYNK, designer Juan Vargas & a whole bunch of other people. The event called for free Hennessy everywhere, Music from DJ Jazzy Jeff and performances from Leona Lewis, Fabolous, & Ne-Yo. Jump to read about the night and to see some great pics.
The line at Gotham Hall was outrageous! Luckily Dominique is friends with super party promoter Lengendary Damon. He got us & 25 other people in without waiting online & no id necessary. The place was packed with press, socialites, & stars.
DJ Jazzy Jeff had the party live with great music from old school to new school. He hid behind his MAC all night tho. His MC, Skills was a great hype man. I had my hands up in the air non stop.
The Retro Kidz got on stage to do some dancing before the performances began.
Leona Lewis performed first. She was amazing. She has such a beautiful voice. And she looked really pretty. She performed about 5 or 6 songs.
The highlight of the night was when the main performance came on. Gentleman of the year, Ne-Yo. Ne-Yo is the ma' fuckin man. Ugly ass head and all. He's a comedian and had the crowd hype & live. He performed all his hits from both albums, and he played some songs he wrote for artists like Beyonce & Rihanna. He danced around the stage, did some tricks with the mic stand, & his suit was on point. His band was also outstanding!
Ne-Yo brought out Fabolous to perform our favorite, She Got Her Own. And then they performed Make Me Better. Ne-Yo was talking and grabbing the ladies' hands all night (including mine yay!) Fab, however was being anti. When he finally decided to grab someone's hand, he chose ME! Then like 3 bitches got lucky after & then he dipped. He looked good too, his watch was blinding, his shades were sick, but he needed a hair cut. Overall it was a really great night. Gotham Hall is beautiful!
Sorry I don't have any videos, Domo's camera can't do them, and sorry no pics of Jazzy Jeff, he was in back of the stage, and Domo's camera's zoom doesn't work either. So we were limited. Luckily we were right in front of the stage.
Enjoy the pics.

Ne-Yo threw the rag he wiped his sweat with, Domo ducked, and it landed on her head!
