My boy, JEFF DONNA (via St. John's--ayyy!) recently took off RUNNING with his music game. I didn't even realize he rapped until a mutual friend of ours showed me his Myspace Music page--needless to say I'm HELLA impressed! His sound is reminiscent of the 90s--think ATCQ and Jay-Z circa Reasonable Doubt. If you knew him, you'd understand that his flow and choice of beats fits his personality PERFECTLY (peep the Talib x Hi Tek track), which enhances the overall listening experience. This kid is something like a local hero--an OUTSTANDING dancer, ill style and THE LONGEST (and greatest) HAIR I've ever seen in MY LIFE. STAY TUNED! In the meantime, check him out on Myspace and show some support to a (really) local aspiring artist.
