This week we asked If the statement "You can't have your cake and eat it too" is true or false.

I was surprised, I thought many would say true. But I voted false as well. The old saying means that you can't always get everything you want, or you can't have things both ways. Well I never liked this saying. If you have cake, eat it. Why would you have cake and not eat it? Now not always being able to have everything you want is a 'duh' statement, of course we can't. But sometimes things do work out and you get what you want and both ways, of whatever the situation. Optimism is like yummy cake, you can never have enough.
